I\u2019ve loved being in the kitchen ever since I was small, and took to baking and decorating at a young age. I received my formal pastry training from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, the Wilton School of Cake Decorating and Confectionery Arts, and the Notter School of Pastry Arts. I continue to attended various specialty classes, teacher trainings, and seminars.<\/p>\n<p>Creative, delicious, high-end custom cakes with impeccable attention to detail is the kind of work that I have thrived on. Pastry is a labor of love and on a good day I&#8217;m able to produce wonderfully edible works of art. I appreciate that a passion for baking and cake decorating has offered me the opportunity to be part of such important and special events in people&#8217;s lives.\u00a0Although I am not currently offering any specialty baking services, I do teach a variety of cake decorating classes and you can find more information about that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alexiszaharis.com\/classes\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.
